Peter Kitchak has been actively involved in the Minneapolis,
Minnesota commercial real estate market for over 25 years while he enjoys
a national reputation for arranging and negotiating major transactions throughout
the United Sates. Peter has also built a reputation as a sophisticated advisor
within the Arts community. Prior to starting Keewaydin in 1983, Peter
was a Partner in the Real Estate department of the Faegre & Benson law
firm, in Minneapolis where he helped to structure some of the Twin Cities
largest leases including the downtown Minneapolis headquarters for Piper Jaffray
Companies, Target Corporation and Pillsbury. An expert in corporate
finance, Peter brings all of his creative problem solving skills to Keewaydin’s
clients by helping them formulate an overall real estate strategy well in
advance of a project’s implementation. Considered one of the country's
leading real estate negotiatiors, Peter is known for obtaining below market
deals for Keewaydin's clients.
Peter’s client list includes: Peter recently: Mr. Kitchak has served on the United Way Cabinet
in Minneapolis; has served on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee
of The Guthrie Theater and is presently on the Board of the Minneapolis Downtown
Council. Peter received his B.A., cum laude and J.D., magna cum laude, degrees from the University of Minnesota. |

PEOPLE FACT: Peter Kitchak is an accomplished race car driver who won his class at the 24 hours of Daytona in 1998 and was third in his class at the 1999 12 Hours of Sebring. In 1998 and 1999, driving his Porsche race car, he won the 5 World Challenge GT Races throughout North America. He also drove in the 24 Hours of LeMans in France in 1997, 1998 and 1999. In 1999 he was runner-up in the World Challenge GT driver's championship. In 2002, Peter, driving his Porsche RSR, won three championships in Historic Sports Cars Racing: The Historic GT Championship, The Rolex Historic Enduro Championship and the HSR Sprint Championship. |
